AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, BEING ORDINANCE NO. 981 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, _ AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Prichard, being Ordinance No. 981 together with the Zoning map of the City of Prichard, be, and the same are hereby changed and altered in respect to that certain property in the City of Prichard, State of Alabama, described as follows, to-wit: \ at From the intersection of the Easterly line of Lot 13 Connelly Tract on the Laurendine Claim as recorded in Deed Book 80, Page 160, Probate: Court Records, Mobile County, Alabama, with the Southerly line of Turner Road (60 foot right-of-way), run North 73° 34' West, along the Southerly line of Turner Road, 246 feet to the point of beginning of the property herein described; thence South 28° West 137 feet to the Northeasterly line of Whistler Avenue (60 foot right of way); thence North 45° 57' West, along said Northeasterly line, 171.05 feet; thence North 44° 22' East 62 feet to the Southerly line of Turner Roads; thence South 73° 34' East, along said Southerly line, 150 feet to the point of beginning. ay The classification of said property is hereby changed from Residential (R-3) District to Business (B-1) District and it shall hereafter be lawful to construct on such property any structures permitted by the terms of said Ordinance in a Business (B-1) District; provided, however that the plans for any structure or building sought to be erected on said property shall be in compliance with the building laws of the City of Prichard, and that any structure shall be approved by the Building Inspector of the City of Prichard, and that any such structure be erected only in compliance with such laws, including the requirements of said Ordinance No, 981.
