Page 1 ORDINANCE NO. 1-766 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: ORDINANCE NO. 1569 IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. In addition te all fees, licenses, charges, assessments of any kind or nature which are presently charged or levied by the City of Prichard, there is hereby levied and assessed the following building permit fees as follows: (1) On all buildings, structures, or alterations requiring a building permit as set forth in Ordinance No: 959 and No: 974; a fee shall be paid as required at the time of filing the application, in accordance with the following. (2) Permit Fees: . a. Where the valuation does not exceed $100:00, no fee shall be required unless an inspection is necessary, in which case there shall be a $15.00 fee: b. For a valuation over $100:00, up to and including $15,000.00, the fee shall be $3.00 per thousand or fraction thereof. ce. For a valuation over $15,000.00, up to and including $100,00.00, the fee shall be $45.00 for the first $15,000.00 plus $2.00 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof. d. For a valuation over $100,000.00, up to and including $500,000.00, the fee shall be $215/00 for the first $100,000.00 plus $1.00 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof. e. For a valuation over $500,000.00, up to and including $1,000,000.00, the fee shall be $615.00 for the first $500,000.00, plus $.40 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof. £. For a valuation over $1,000,000.00, the fee shall be $815.00 for first million plus $.15 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof. g- 1/4 of 1% of total evaluation shall be added to the above, applying to Contractors only. h.
