Page 1 ORDINANCE #1614 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, BEING ORDINANCE NUMBER 981. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Prichard, being Ordinance Number 981, together with the Zoning, Map of the City of Prichard, Alabama be, and the same are hereby changed and altered in respect to that certain property fn the City of Prichard, State of Alabama, described as follows: All of Square Number Four (4) in the Villiage of Whistler, according to a map of said Village made by J.P. Frensenius and recorded in Deed Book 22.N.S., Page 366, Probate Records of Mobile County, Alabama, said Square being bounded on the Northwest by Eight Mile Creek, on the Northeast by Warren Street, and on the Southwest by Culvert Street, and on the Southeast by Anderson Street. Being the same property conveyed by deed. dated May 15, 1928 and recorded in Deed Book’219, Page 33, Probate. Court Records, Mobile County, Alabama. a / The Classifféation of said property is hereby changed from a Residential (R-2) District to a Business (B-2) District, and it shall hereafter be lawful to construct on such property any structures permitted by the terms of said Ordinance in a Business (B-2) District; provided, however, that the plans for any structure or building sought to be erected on said property shall be in compliance with the Building Laws of the City of Prichard, and that any structure shall be approved by the Buflding inspector of the City of Prichard, and that any such structure be erected only in compliance with such laws, including the requirements of said Ordinance #981.
