Page 1 ORDINANCE NO.: __ 1886 AN ORDINANCE TO DESIGNATE CHECK SIGNING AUTHORITY IN THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA AND TO REPEAL ORDINANCE NO. 1881 WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1881 designated Hark Ephriam, Jr., the then Acting Mayor of the City of Prichard, and former Councilmember Marvin E. Leachman as primary signatories on all checks drawn on the accounts of the City of Prichard; and that said Ordinance further designated former Councilmember James O. Pogue as an alternate signatory in the absence of Hark Ephriam, Jr., or Marvin E. Leachman; WHEREAS, the check signing authority authorized under Ordinance No. 1881 expired as of October 2, 2000 and there is now a need to designate the persons who will have the responsibility and authority to sign all checks drawn on the accounts of the City of Prichard; NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, as follows: 1. That all checks drawn on the accounts of the City of Prichard, Alabama, whether the same be drawn on the general fund, a special fund or a custodial account, i.e., the Weed and Seed account, shall bear the signatures of two ersons, namely: od 4 / ka SWS (title: {es Couwe, VA ), and ‘hath hetedias (title: 27 gyar_ ), and the same are hereby designated as the primary signatories on all safd accounts. 2. ‘That in the event one of the persons designated jn paragraph | hereof is unavailable, then in such event OGmK¢ 6 MECC 2/ / Te. ; (title: Mier ES s CSV AC yf is hereby designated as an alternate signec on all said accounts. 3.
