Page 1 copy ORDINANCE NO. _582_ BE IT CSDAINED BY THE OITY COUNCIL OF TSE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: ; SECTION ONE: ‘That a City ed valorem tax for the tax year commencing on Octeber 1, 1953, and eading on September 30, 1954, is hereby levied for the use of said City of Prichard upoa and against each and every motor vehicle situated in the corporate limits of said City, and provided further that the levy here made is upon assessments to be made on the State assess< ment in the manner provided by the Constitution and law of the State. “IBESTZON TWO: That the vate of said tax shall be and sama is hereby fixed at one-half of one per centum of the value of auch motor vehicles aapessed for state taxation during the sama tax year. SECTION. THREE: That the Tax Collector of Mobile County, Alabama shall collect ail ad valorem taxes on motor vehicids levied here under and which are due to Clty of Prichard, Alabama, and shali report and pay over the tax monies su collected for said oity at che same time and in the seme manner as state sad county taxes are reported and paid over by bin. SECTION FOUR: Be it further ordsined that all state laws on municipal taxation applicable hereto be and the same ara hereby’ adopted and made a part hereof as fully as 1£ herein specifically set out. SECTION FIVE: That Lf any part, clause, phrage, or provision here of is declared invalid, the rest shail stand, aad that this ordinance be and become effective on and after its adoption.
