Page 1 ORDINANCE No. _ 7/6 TO FIX THE COST OF COURT IN THE RECORDERS COURT OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE PAYMENT OF SUCH COSTS INTO THE TREASURY OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD WHEN COLLECTED AND THE DISTRIBUTION OF SUCH FUNDS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: oe 1. The following services are hereby determined and fixed, and ordered taxed as costs of court in each case against each defen- dant convicted in the Recorder's Court of the City of Prichard, Alabama, for violation of any ordinance of the City Of Prichard, Alabama, viz: (a) For Docketing Each Case. ........ + $1.00 (b) For Trial of Each Case .......s.s ~ $1.00 (c) For the re-scheduling of each case where the defendant requests a continuance and it is determined by the Recorder to be to the best interest to continue such case..$2.00 SECTION 2. All costs taxed as hereinabove provided shall, when collected, be paid into the Treasury of the City of Prichard, Alabama. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall keep accurate records of the said cost of Court with the Monies to be ear-marked as follows? I. $2.00 to be earmarked for General Revenue of the City of Prichard. 2. $2.00 to be earmarked for the Police and Fire Uniform and Equipment Fund. SECTION 4. Ordinance No. 719 is hereby expressly repealed. SECTION 5. This Ordianance shall be in full force and effect after its adoption and publication ADOPTED this _4thday of April, 1962.
