Page 1 ORDINANCE # 1641 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, BEING ORDINANCE NO. 981. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Prichard, being Ordinance No. 981, together with the Zoning Map of the City of Prichard.be, and the same are hereby changed and altered in respect to that certain property in the City of Prichard, State of Alabama, described as follows: From the intersection of a Northeastward extension of the Southeasterly right of way line of Sixth Street in Whistler, Alabama, with the Northeasterly right of way line of Warren Street, run Southeastwardly along the Northeasterly line of Warren Street 554.0 feet to the*most Northerly intersection of Warren Street and Fall Avenue for the point of beginning of the property herein described (said point may also be identified by running Northwestwardly along the Northeasterly stde.of Warren Street 230.5 feet from the Northwesterly corner of Lot 13 of the J. T. Levens Subdivision); thence North 46 degrees 36. feet 50 inches West along the Northeasterly line of Warren Street 309.0 feet to a point; thence North 43 degrees 45 feet East and parallel to the Northwesterly line of Fall Avenue 1,339 feet, more or less, to the Westerly margin of Gum Tree Branch; thence Southwardly along the meanders of the Westerly margin of Gum Tree Branch 309 feet, more or less, to the Northwesterly right of way line of Fall Avenue; thence South 43 degrees 45 feet West along the Northwesterly right of way line of Fall Avenue 1320.6 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. The Classification of said property Is hereby changed from Residential (R-1) District to Residential (R-4) District and it shall hereafter be lawful] to construct on such pro- perty any structures permitted by the terms of said Ordinance in a Residential (R-4) Dis- trict; provided, however, that the plans for any structure or building sought to be erected on said property shall be in compliance with the Building Laws of the City of | Prichard, and that any structure shall be approved by the Building Inspector of the City of Prichard, and that any structure be erected only in compliance with such laws, in- cluding the requirements of said Ordinance #981.
