Page 1 AN ORDINANCE REGULATING RESIDENCE REQUIREMENTS OF CIVIL SERVICE EMPLOYEES BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Any person applying for or holding an office, position or empioyment of the City of Prichard, Alabama, subject to the Civil Service Act of Mobile Coumty, Alabama, (Lecal Act No. 470, approved September 15, 1939, Local Acts of Alabama, page 298, as emended) must be a resident of the City of Prichard, Alabama, or its police jurisdiction; provided, however, chat the classified position of Electrician IL of the City of Prichard is excepted from the provisions of this eection. SECTION 2. Any person applying for or holding the classified position of &lectrician II of the City of Prichard must be a resident of Mobile Gounty, Alabema, and must have been such a resident for a period of at least three years of the five years next preceding the date he applies for such position. SECTION 3. All ordinances or resolutions heretefore passed wegulating residence requirements of employees of the City of Prichard ere hereby cepealed. SECTION 4.
