Page 1 ORDINANCE NO. 1724 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA BEING ORDINANCE NO. 981. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Prichard, being Ordinance No. 981, together with the Zoning Map of the City of Prichard be, and the same are hereby changed and altered in respect to that certain property in the City of Prichard, State of Alabama, described as follows: That certain lot of land bounded by a line described as follows, to-wit: From the Northeast corner of Lot 9 Forest Homes SubDivision, run West along the North line of said Lot 9, a distance of 657.5 feet, more or less to the Northwest Corner of a tract of land conveyed by W. J. Bowen and wife to Herman Lewis and Ethelyn M. Lewis, by Warranty Deed dated March 12, 1946, recorded in Deed Book 430 N. S., page 416 of Probate Court Records of Mobile County, Alabama, for a point of beginning and from said point of beginning run West along the North line of said Lot 9, a distance of 181 feet, more or less, to the Northwest corner of said Lot 9, thence run South 4 degrees 15 minutes West 363 feet to the North side of the Old Gravel Road, thence run North 78 degrees 45 minutes East along the North side of the Old Gravel Road 220 feet to the intersection with the West line of the road to Kushla Station, thence North 49 degrees 40 minutes East along the West line of Kushla Station Road 156 feet, more or less, to the Southwest corner of property conveyed to Herman Lewis and Ethelyn M. Lewis, above mentioned, thence run North 30 degrees West along the West line of said property of Lewis 247 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. The classification of said property is hereby changed from Residential Ri District to Business B1 District and it shall hereafter be lawful to construct on such property any structures permitted by the terms of said Ordinance in a Business (B-1) District; provided however, that the plans for any structure or building sought to be erected on said property shall be in compliance with the Building Laws of the City of Prichard, and that any structure shall be approved by the Building Inspector of the City of Prichard, and that any such structure be erected only in compliance with such laws, including the requirements of said Ordinance No. 981. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall have full force and effect upon its approval as required by law. ADOPTED this the 30th day of October, 1990. APPROVED: MARGIZ M.
