Page 1 ORDINANCE NO. 534 BE If ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City Of Prichard, Alabama does -hereby find and determine as a matter of public policy that it is dangerous or énjurious to the life or health of the people of the city of Prichard, Alabama and in the police jurisdiction thereof - for trucks or other commercial vehicles designed or intended for the purpose of carrying or transporting logs of any length or des- cription whether such trucks or other vehicles be loaded or un- loaded, to be driven on, along or upon any of the public streets , or highways in the city of Prichard, Alabama or in the police . wk jurisdiction thereof except on, upon or along the public streets in the City of Prichard, Alabama or in the police jurisdiction thereof known as Craft Highway, Telegraph Road, Bay Bridge Road, Prichard, Street and East Turner Road or West Turner Road; and it is herewith and hereby declared to be unlawful and an offence against the City of Prichard for any person, firm or corporation to drive or cause to be driven any such vehicles on, along or upon any of the public streets or highways in the City of Prichard or in the police jurisdiction thereof except the aforementioned \ public streets or highways specifically excepted. % SECTION 2. Any person, firm or corporation found guilty of vi i of section one hereof shall upon conviction be fined not wore than ¢ one hundred (100.00) and may in addition, in the discretion.of the Judge or Recorders trying the same, be sentenced to not more than six (6) months hard labor for the City of Prichard.
