AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 959 BY PROVIDING THAT DISABLED AMERICAN VETERANS BE EXEMPT FROM BUILDING PERMIT, PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL FEES ON THEIR PERSONAL RESIDENCES BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That Ordinance No. 959 of the City of Prichard is hereby amended by addition of the following section: Section 5-A. The building, plumbing and electrical permits provided for in Ordinance No. 959 shall be issued without charge to Disabled American Veterans where application for such permits is made as to personal residences of such Disabled American Veterans and upon satisfactory proof that (a) the applicant is a Disabled American Veteran, (b) that he owns the property for which application is made either individually or jointly with his spouse, and (c) that the residence or im- provements for which the application is filed is or will be the personal residence of such Disabled American Veteran.
