Page 1 ORDINANCE NO. 1523 ' ‘AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE CARRYING OF HAND GUNS. IN THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS ' FOLLOWS: Section 1. It shall be unlawful: for any unlicensed person in‘ the City of Prichard te carry a pistol, either openly or concealed about his person or in any vehicle, except on his own land, or_ in his own abode or place of business. : Section 2. The provisions of this’ Section shall not apply to persons exempt. under Section 13-6-154 and 155 of ‘the Code of Alabama 1975. Section 3. Any person violating this Ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of not Jess than $250.00 nor more than $500.00 and be imprisoned in the City Jail for not less than 10 days and not more than 6 months or both on a first ‘conviction. Section 4, Any person violating this Ordinance on a Second conviction shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of not less than $300.00 nor more than $500.00 .and be imprisoned in-the City Jail for not less than 20 days and not more than 6 months, or both. Section 5. Any person violating this Ordinance on-a Third conviction shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fttie of not less than $400.00 nor more than $500.00 and be imprisoned in the City Jail for not less than 30 days and not. more than 6 months, or both.
