Page 1 ORDINANCE NO. 1746 AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL ORDINANCE NO. 1744 AND TO DESIGNATE THE MASONIC LODGE #145 AS A VOTING PLACE IN COUNCIL DISTRICT 2 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 1744, an ordinance to consolidate the voting places in Council District 2 by vacating that certain voting place known as the Whistler United Methodist Church, PW-33~-98-01, is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. The voting place known as Whistler United Methodist Church, PW-33-98-01, located at 3102 Whistler Avenue is hereby relocated to the Masonic Lodge #145 located at 3106 Whistler Avenue, Prichard, Alabama. SECTION 3. The relocation of the voting place herein shall be effective for municipal elections in the City of Prichard, Alabama but shall have no effect whatsoever for an County, State or National election except’as otherwise provided by competent authority. SECTION 4. The City Clerk of the City of Prichard shall file a certified copy of this Ordinance and a copy of a map or plat of Council District 2 with the Judge of Probate of Mobile County, Alabama not more than five (5) days after its adoption by the City Council of the City of Prichard.
