Page 1 ORDINANCE NO. _1269 ‘ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1268 BY CHANGING ITS EFFECTIVE DATE FROM DECEMBER 4, 1970, TO JANUARY 1, 1971 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS : Section 1. That Section 10 of Ordinance No. 1268 is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 10. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become effective on the first day of January, 1971, and the first payment of taxes hereunder shall be due and payable on the twentieth day of February, 1971. This ordinance shall remain in full force and effect and shall apply to each month of the year, 1971, beginning with the month of January and to each month of each calendar year thereafter from year to year.
