Page 1 Ordinance No. 1578 An Ordinance to Sell Certain Real Estate Lecated in the City of Prichard Be It Ordained By The City Council of the City of Prichard, Alabama, as follows: Section 1. Whereas, Lot 19, Unit 2, Block 10 of Lincoln Park Subdivision, Prichard, Alabama, is hereby declared to be excess to the needs of the City of Prichard, Alabama, and WHEREAS, William E. McCafferty, an experienced real estate appraiser with fifteen years experience appraising real estate in the City of Prichard, Alabama, did, on to-wit, October 19, 1982, estimate the Fair Market Value of said property to be $1,500.00, and WHEREAS, said Lot is vacant and its highest and best use is residential, and it is presently zoned residential, and WHEREAS, the City of Prichard, Alabama, a municipal corporation, is a willing seller, and Harold Williams is a willing purchaser, the Mayor of the City of Prichard, Alabama, is hereby authorized to sign for and on behalf of the City of Prichard, Alabama, a deed conveying said Lot to Harold Williams, for the net amount of $1,500.00 cash, to be paid to the Clerk-Treasurer, said purchaser to pay the cost of the appraisal, all assessments, taxes, title binder, and costs of closing. Said deed is to be attested by the Clerk. Section 2. This Ordinance shall have full ral effect upon its LUN Mie approval as required by law.
