Section 3 of Ordinance No. 1706, the License Code of the City of Prichard, as amended based. shall be and hereby is admended to read as follows: SECTION 3: A $1.00 issuance fee to be added to any and all license issued. No license fee based on the gross receipts, gross sales/or inventory shall be less than $115.00, unless otherwise specified. 4. All other provisions of Ordinances No. 1706, 1715, 1734 and 1767 not affected by this amendment shall remain in full force and effect. 5. If any article, section, sentence, clause, or phrase of this Ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by declaration of any court of competent jurisdiction, such declaration shall not affect the validity if remaining portions of this Ordinance and each article, section, sentence, clause, or phrase thereof irrespective of the fact that one or more articles, sections, sentences, clauses, or phrases be declared invalid or unconstitutional. 6. This Ordinance, upon its adoption and publication as required by law, shall be effective and operative for the license year beginning January 1, 1994 and ending December 31, 1995 and for each subsequent year thereafter.
