BUSINESS WITHIN 400 FRET. OF EACH OTHER.
BE IY GADAINED HY THE GiTY GOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, as
FOLLOWS
BECTION 1. The City Gouncil of Prichard, Alabama, has determined
and herewith Zinds as a matter of fact that the storing or sele of £ire-
worke by plaees of business or warehouses within 406 feat of cack other —
constitutes a, fire and explosive danger to tha eltizens of Prichard and
its police jurisdiction. ,
SECTION 2, That the storing or sale of fireworks bya place of
business or warehouse within 400 feet of any other place of business
ox warehouse storing or sailing fireworks within tha City of Prichard
and its police jurisdiction is herewith prohibited and shall constitute
an offense against the Civy of Pricherd, Alabama.
SECTION 3, That the Clty Clerk of Prichard shall issue no new
licenses for tha storing or sala of fireworks to any place of business
or warehouse located within 490 feet of any other placa of businesa or
warehouse storing ov selling fireworks within the City of Prichard and
its police Jurisdiction.
SECTION 4. That nothing contained in this Ordinance shall prohibit
the tasuance' of licenses or the right to atere or sell fireworks by places
of business or warehouses presently in operation within the Gity of
Prichard gnd ite police juriadiction.
SECTION 5. That nothing contained in this ordinance shall be con-
strued as legalizing the stoxing oz sale of fireworks other than the
types or Kinds permitted by the laws of the State of Alabama and other
Spplicable ordinances ‘of the Oity of Prichard, and nothing herein contained
shall be construad as legalizing the atoring of fireworks othér than for
immudiate sale.
SECTION 6. Any person violating any provision of this Ordinance shall,
upon conviction, ba pudished by & fine of aut move than ue Hoadred ($100.00)
Dollars, and may ia addition, be sentenced to gail or hard labor for. the
Gity of Prichard for # period not to exceed etx (6) months.
SECTION 7. Theat this Ordinance shall ave full force and effect wpon
ite approval. as required by Law.
