Page 1 ORDINANCE #1576 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE. OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, BEING ORDINANCE #981. BE 1T ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL QF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: Section I. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Prichard, Alabama, being Ordinance No. 981, together with the Zoning Map of the City of Prichard be, and the same are. hereby changed and altered in respect to that certain property in the City. of Prichard, State of Alabama, described: as follows, to wit: Beginning at the Northwest corner of St. Stephens Road and Hand Avenue; thence $51 30' W. along the North right of way line of said Hand Avenue 200.56 feet to the Southeast corner of Porter Subdivision 2nd Unit as--per . plat recorded in may book 23, page 45 in the Office of the Judge of Probate, Mobile County, Alabama; thence N33 42 W along the East line of said Porter Subdivision 143.2 feet to the Northeast corner of said Porter Subdivision; thence N51 30'E 200.56 feet to a point on the West right of way line of St. Stephens Road; thence $33 42'E along said West right of way line | 143.20 feet to the Point of Beginning. Being a part of the Qwens Division of the St. Louis Tract. Section 2. Any fees, permits, licenses, or other requirements requested by any individual, firm or etc., for the purpose of constructing on the said facility, must be cleared by: the full body of the Council, with all five(5) members present and voting. Any action contrary to the aforementioned request, is prohibited. The Classification of said property is hereby changed from Residential 3 District to Business 1 District and it shall hereafter be lawful to construct” on such property any structures permitted. by the terms of said Ordinance in a Business | District; provided, however,. that the plans for any structure or building sought to be. erected on said property shall be in compliance with the Building Laws of the City of Prichard, and that any structure shall be approved by the Building Inspector of the City of Prichard, and that any such structure be erected only in compliance with such laws, including the requirements of said Ordinance #981.
