Page 1 Sc ORDINANCE #1639 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE #1245, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCES #1313, 1515, 1548, AND 1549, IMPOSING A CITY SALES TAX. BE IT ORDAINED By the City Council of the City of Prichard, Alabama, as follows: SECTION 1. That Ordinance #1245 as amended by ordinance #1313, 1515, 1548, and 1549, imposing a City Sales Tax in the City of Prichard, Alabama, be, and is hereby amended so that said Sales Tax shall be and is increased from 3% to 4%, effective date, November 1, 1985.
