Page 1 102 ORDINANCE 654 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA: SECTION 1. In addition to all other licenses now or hereafter levied by the City of Prichard there is hereby levied, imposed and assessed against each laundry, dry cleaner or similar business operating within the City of Prichard without a fixed, bona fide place of business in Mobile County an annual license of five hundred ($500.00) dollars per annum, and one-half of such license for such operation in the police jurisdiction of the City of Prichard, but without the city limits thereof. SECTION 2. The license or licenses levied by Section 1 hereof shall not be pro-rated nor shall such license be transferable. SECTION 3. Any person, firm or corporation found guilty of violation of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined not more than $100.00 and may, in addition be sentenced to jail or jard labor for the City of Prichard for a term not to exceed six months, one or both in the discreation of the Judge or Recorder trying the same.
