Page 1 Q ORDINANCE NO.: _ 1955 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING SIGNATURES ON CHECKS AND ACCOUNTS OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA WHEREAS, a new mayor and council has been duly elected for the City of Prichard, Alabama, which officeholders have taken their positions on this the first Monday in November, 2008; WHEREAS, with the expiration of the term of office of the prior officeholders, it is now necessary to designate and authorize those with signing authority on the checks and accounts of the City of Prichard; NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, as follows: 1. That Ronald K. Davis, as Mayor of the City of Prichard, and Rex Williams, as Director of Finance, Darlene P. Lewis, as City Clerk are hereby jointly authorized to sign all checks drawn on the accounts and books of the City of Prichard, Alabama. 2. That all ordinances and resolutions in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediately after its adoption and as required by law.
