Page 1 ORDINANCE NO. 2045 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, BEING ORDINACE NO. 981. 121 N SHELTON BEACH ROAD EIGHT MILE, ALABAMA 36613 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Prichard, being Ordinance No. 981, together with the Zoning Map of the City of Prichard be, and the same are hereby changed and altered in respect to that certain property in the City of Prichard, State of Alabama, described as follows: PARCEL A: Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 8, Basil Chastang Grant according to plat thereof recorded in the Office of the Judge of Probate Court of the County of Mobile, Alabama in Deed Book 117, Pages 78-79, said point being on the East right-of-way line of the Illinois Central and Gulf Railroad; thence run 46 degrees 17’27” W, 352.44 feet along said right-of-way line to a point; thence run N 43 degrees 2829” E, 317.45 feet to a point; thence run S 46 degrees 17’27” E, 352.44 feet to a point; thence run S 43 degrees 28’29” W, 314.45 feet to said East right-of-way line and the point of beginning. PARCEL B: Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 9, Basil Chastang Grant according to plat thereof recorded in the Office of the Judge of Probate Court of the County of Mobile, Alabama in Deed Book 117, Pages 78-79, said point being on the East right-of-way line of the Illinois Central and Gulf Railroad; thence run 43 degrees 28’29” E, 317.45 feet to a point on the West right-of-way line of North Shelton Beach Road; thence run S 10 degrees 25’ W, 350.5 feet along said West right-of-way line to a point on said East right-of-way line of the Illinois Central and Gulf Railroad; thence run N 46 degrees 17’27” W, 208.49 feet along said East right-of-way line to the point of beginning. The classification of said property is hereby changed from Residential (R-1) District to Business (B-2) Commercial District and it shall hereafter be lawful to construct on such property any structures permitted by the terms of said Ordinance in a Business (B-2) Commercial District; provided, however, that the plans for any structure or building sought to be erected on said property shall be in compliance with the Building Laws of the City of Prichard, and that any structure shall be approved by the Building Inspector of the City of Prichard, and that any such structure be erected only in compliance with such laws, including the requirements of said Ordinance #981. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall have full force and effect upon its approval as required by law.
