Page 1 ‘ed ORDINANCE NO. 1584 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That, the following described real property is no longer needed for public or municipal purposes: Lot 1, Block 5, Disposal Map Wilson Avenue Plaza Urban Renewal Project, Housing Authority of the City of Prichard, Alabama, as per revised map recorded in Map Book 25, page 93-B of the records in the office of the Judge of Probate of Mobile County, Alabama. Section 2. That, The Water Works and Sewer Board of the City of Prichard, at one time, owned this property and the title vested in the Housing Authority of the City of Prichard in 1966 on a friendly condemnation. That, The Water Works and Sewer Board of the City of Prichard is desirous of expanding its present office so that it will be able to better serve the citizens of Prichard, NOW THEREFORE, the City of Prichard is hereby di- rected to sell the above described property to The Water Works and Sewer Board of the City of Prichard for the sum of $1.00 and the Mayor is hereby directed to sign a deed to the above described unneeded municipal property to The Water Works and Sewer Board by warranty deed and to have the clerk of the City of Prichard attest the mayor's signa- ture.
