Section 1 (4) Paragraph Ordinance #71, 87, 169, 188, 203, 224B, 239 of 1706 the License Code of the City of Prichard, as amended by Ordirlance #1862, 1851, 1808, 1781, 1767, 1735, 1734 and 1716, shall be and is amended to read as follows: MERCHANTS WHOLESALE: This license is not to include any business or which a license is specifically required by any other subsection of this ordinance and shall apply to consigned and warehouse stocks, whenever sold or distributed from local warehouses as well as purchased stock. Section | (4) Paragraph Ordinance #177A of 1706 the License Code of the City of Prichard, as amended by Ordinance #1862, 1851, 1808, 1781, 1767, 1735, 1734 and 1716, shall be and is amended to read as follows: GASOLINE (a) Retail dealers in and agents for the sale of gasoline..$50.00 per gasoline nozzle (Pump with Regular, Unleaded, Super Unleaded equals 3 nozzles) (b) In addition to section (a) above, retail merchants schedule shall apply to all sales except Gasoline . Section 14. Section 1 (4) Paragraph Ordinance #378 of 1706 the License Code of the City of Prichard, as amended by Ordinance #1862, 1851, 1808, 1781, 1767, 1735, 1734 and 1716, shall be and is amended to read as follows: UTILITIES ........cccccccccccocscncscsovoesces a cecccccccecavevcosessocees 3% of gross receipts There is further levied and imposed upon each said person, firm or corporation which sells merchandise in addition to furnishing the said utility, the same license or privilege tax as is otherwise provided for merchants retail. Section 15. The above is hereby declared to be and is adopted as the scheduled license fees for the year beginning January |, 2003, and ending December 31, 2003, and for each subsequent year for these classification. All other requirements of these paragraphs remain in place unless specified in this amendment. Section 16. This ordinance shall have full force and effect upon its approval as required by law.
