Page 1 Ordinance No. 20 _ BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to cause or allow any vehicle of any kind to enter or pass any in- tersection when faced with a traffic light or signal show- ing red or orange, or to fail to come to a complete stop before entering or passing through any intersection at which a stop sign facing the driver has been erected by the City of Prichard, or to make left turns which are pro- hibited by Ordinances heretofore or hereinafter adopted by the City Council of the City of Prichard, or to unnecesari- ly block traffic upon any of the public streets or highways, or to make a turn commonly known as a U turn,‘or to dis- regard the signal or direction of any officer of the law acting within his authority, or to fail to come to a stop upon hearing the siren or seeing the warning light or see- ing or hearing other warning devices of a vehicle operated by the Police or Fire Department of the City of Prichard, or to violate the regulations in any Ordinance or Ordinances now in existence or hereafter adopted providing for one-way traffic on any street or streets in the City of Prichard or in the Police Jurisdiction thereof. Section 2. It. shall be unlawful for any person to cause or ~— allow any vehicle to be parked or left standing in violation ‘ of the provisions of any Ordinance now in existence or here- after adopted by the City of Prichard regulating parking within the City or within the Police Jurisdiction thereof. Section 3. Any person found guilty of violation of “Section 1 hereof shall be subject to a fine of Five ($5.00) Dollars, and any person found guilty of violation of Section 2 hereof shall be subject to a fine of Two ($2.00) Dollars, which such fines may be paid to the Clerk of the Recorder's Court of the City of Prichard, or to other proper officials in the event of his . absence.
