That subsection amendeu to seaa as is. Upon every pexsoa, firn tion engaged, or continuing within. the City of Fricharc, sa the business of conducting, or operating, places of amusement or entertainment, billiard and pool xooms, bowling alleys, amusemeat cev.ces, musical devices, theaters, opera houses, moving picture snows, public dance halls, vaudevilles, amusement parxs, athletic contest, inciuaing wrestling matches prize faghts, boxing and wrestling eihipitions, football aad base- pall games, sxating rinks, race tracxs, solf courses, or any other place at which any exhibition, display, amueement or entertainment ug offered to the phblic, or place or places where an admission fee is charged, an amount equal to one percent of the gross receipts of such business; excepting, however, public bathing places, swamming . pools ox lakes, and athletic contests conducted by or under the auspices of any educational snstitution within this State, or any athletic association thereof, whether such institution or associa~ tion be a Genominational, a State, a County or a municipal insti- tution or essocration or school. . SECTION 2. This Ocdinance shall have full force and effect upon 1ts Fr approval as required by law. 12th day of January, 195%.
