Page 1 ORDINANCE # 1626 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, BEING ORDINANCE NO. 981. BE 1T ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 7. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Prichard, being Ordinance No. 981, together with the Zoning Map of the City of Prichard be, and the same are hereby changed and altered in respect to that certain property in the City of Prichard, State of Alabama, described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of Lot 29, Range 1 West, Owen Division of the St. Louis Tract; thence run Southeastwardly along the West side of St. Stephens Road 203.33 feet for the point of beginning of the property herein described; thence with a deflection angle to the right of 85 degrees 49 minutes run Southwestwardly 500.02 feet to a point; thence with an en- closed angle of 94 degrees 11 minutes run Southeastwardly 214.5 feet to a point; thence with an enclosed angle of 85 degrees 27 minutes 30 seconds run Northeastwardly 500.26 feet to a point, said point being on the West side of St. Stephens Road; thence run Northwestwardly along the West side of St. Stephens Road 211.34 feet to the point of beginning. All measure- ments being according to a survey prepared by Norden Engineering Company dated October 4, 1953. . The Classification of said property is hereby changed from Business (B-1) Districe to Business (B-2) District and it shall hereafter be lawful to construct on such property any structures permitted by the terms of said Ordinance in a Business (B-2) District; provided, however, that the plans for any structure or building sought to be erected on said property shall be in compliance with the Building Laws of the City of Prichard, and that any structure shall] be approved by the Building Inspector of the City of Prichard, and that any structure be erected only in compliance with such laws, including the requirements of said Ordinance #981.
