Any person, firm or corporation whieh shall rent, lease or. , otherwise demise to any other parson, firm or copporation any property ’ dn the City of Prichard or in the Police Jurisdiction thereof for the purpose of presenting any dance or other entertainmentto which an — admission is to be or shall be charged, which such entertainment admission would be subject to the Amusement or entertainment tax now or hereafter in effect gn the City of Prichard shall be responsible ' to the City of Prichard for such amusement tax and sHall make reports and pay such tax in the manner provided by the ordinance levying such tare t \ i \ SECTION 2. Any such person, firm or corporation who shall be Liable eae namusenenttax by reason of Section 1 hereof may avoid | Ale ty.for such tax by notifying in writing the GLtypeClerk of *the Pegaty of Prichard ‘of the name of the person, firm or eorporation who ‘Intends to“use such property for such purpose, Lagethen with: the name and chief officer thereof at least five (5) days before such dane 6 other entertainment is scheduled to take place. SECTION 3. Any person, firm or corporation found guilty of violation of Section 1 hereof shall be fined not more than $100,00 and may, in addition, be sentenced to jail or hard labor for the City of Prichard - for a period of not to exceed 6 monthse .
