Page 1 ORDINANCE NO. 1701 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, BEING ORDINANCE NO. 981. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Prichard, being Ordinance No. 981, together with the Zoning Map of the City of Prichard be, and the same are hereby changed and altered in respect to that certain property in the City of Prichard, State of Alabama, described as follows: PARCEL A That certain lot, piece or parcel of land situated lying and being in the Town of Whistler, Mobile County, State of Alabama, and more particularly described as follows, to wit: Beginning at a point on the east side of the St. Stephens. Road Four Hundred and Eighty feet and Eight inches Southwardly from the Southeast corner of St. Stephens Road and First Street, running thence Southwardly along the East side of St. Stephens Road a distance of Eighty feet and Eight inches, to a point, thence east- wardly and parallel to First Street a distance of Three Hundred feet, more or less to the East line of lots Number Twenty One and Twenty, Eighty feet and Eight inches to a point, thence Westwardly Three Hundred feet more or less to the place of beginning and being part of Lots Twenty One and Twenty in said Square number Twenty Six, as per Map and survey made by J.N. Seabury, December 4, 1930. PARCEL B That certain lot, piece or parcel of land situated lying and being in the Town of Whistler, Mobile County, Alabama and more particularly described as follows, to-wit: Beginning at a point on the east side of St. Stephens Road Five Hundred and Sixty One feet and Four inches southwardly from the southeast corner of First Street and St. Stephens Road, running thence southwardly along the east side of St. Stephens Road Eighty Feet and Eight inches to a point, thence eastwardly and parallel to First Street a distance of Three Hundred feet more or less to the east line of lot number Twenty One in Square number Twenty Six, thence northwardly along the east line of said Lot number Twenty One Eighty feet and Eight inches to a point, thence westwardly Three Hundred feet more or less to the place of beginning, as per Map and survey made by J.N. Seabury December 4th, 1930. The Classification of said property is hereby changed from Business (B~1) District to Business (B-2) District and it shall hereafter be lawful to construct on such property any structures permitted by the terms of said Ordinance in a Business (B-2) District; provided, however, that the plans for any structure or building sought to be erected on said property shall be in compliance with the Building Laws of the City of Prichard, and that any structure shall be approved by the Building Inspector of the City of Prichard, and that any such structure be erected only in compliance with such laws, including the requirements of said Ordinance #981. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall have full force and effect upon its approval as required by laws.
