Page 1 ORDINANCE No. WAS AN ORDINANCE LEVYING THE ANNUAL CITY AD VALOREM TAX ON REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY EXCEPTING MOTOR VEHICLES BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNGIL‘OF THE CITY oF PRICHARD, . ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: . Section 1. That a city ad valorem tax for the tax year commencing on October 1, 1958 and ending on September 30, 1959, is hereby levied for the use of the City of Prichard, Alabama, upon and against each and every parcel of property, whether real, personal; or mixed, and -Upon and against each and every'and'all subjects of taxation liable therefor (except motor vehicles), situated in the’ corporate limits of the City of Prichard, Alabama, and provided further that the levy ere made is upon assessments to be made on the State assesements in the manner provided by the Constitution and Laws of’the State of Alabama. Section 2, , That the cate of said tax’ shall be and same is hereby fixed at 1/2 of one par eentum of the value of such property and subjects as assessed for Stata taxation for the tax year provided by the laws of the State of' Slabama. ‘ Section 3. That the tax collector of Mobile County, Alabama, shall collect all ad valorem taxes on such property and subjects levied on hereunder, and which are due to the City of Prichard, Alabama, and shall report and pay over the tax money so collected for said City of Prichard, Alabama, at the same time and in the same manner as State and Gounty taxes are reported and paid over by him. Section 4. That all State laws on municipal taxation applicable hereto be and the same are hereby adopted and made a part hereof as fully as if herein specifically set out, ; Section 5.
