Page 1 ORDINANCE NO. Z/2~ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 898 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Section One of Ordinance No. 898 adopted on the 17th day of April, 1961, is hereby amended to read as follows: “Seetion 1: Any person who shall recklessly drive or operate or cause to be recklessly driven or operated any motor vehicle, by whatever name called, propelled by an internal combustion engine or motor, while the senses, reflexes or judg- ment of such person shall be impaired by the use of alcoholic beverages or any other substance, whether liquid, solid, powder or in whatever other form it may occur, which will create such a situation shall be gulty of an offense against the City of Prichard, and shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than One Hundred $100.00) Dollars and may, in addition, at the discretion of the judge or recorder trying the same, be sentenced to jail or hard labor for the City of Prichard for a@ period not to exceed six (6) months, either or both.” Adopted this, the 5th day of June, 1961.
