Page 1 ORDINANCE NO.__1108 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, BEING ORDINANCE NO. 981 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the zoning Ordinance of the City of Prichard, being Ordinance No. 981 together with the Zoning Map of the City of Prichard, be, and the same are hereby changed and altered in respect to that certain property in the City of Prichard, State of Alabama, described as follows, to-wit: Beginning at the point of intersection of the North right of way line of Main Street (formerly known as Engine Street) with the east line of Lot 13, Block A, Centertown Subdivision, as shown on plat recorded in Deed Book 156 N.S., Page 136, said point being evidenced by a 1/2 pipe corner stake, thence run West along the North right of way line of Main Street a dis- tance of 34 feet to a point on the edge of Prices Lane Asphalt paving thence run along the edge of said asphalt paving on the are of a curve to the right a distance of 36 feet toa point, thence continue along said east edge of the asphalt paving of Prices Lane a distance of 114.03 feet to a point on the North line of Lot 12, Block A, Centertown Subdivision, thence run Bast along the said north line of Lots 12 and 13 a distance of 70 feet to the inter- section of the east line of Lot 13, thence South along the said east line of Lot 13 a distance of 140 feet back to the point of beginning Said parcel of land lying and being in Lots 12 and 13, Block A, Centertown Subdivision, as recorded in Deed Book 156 N.S., Page 136 of the records in the Probate Court of Mobile County, Alabama, and containing 0,194 acres, more or less. The classification of said property is hereby changed from Residential (R-3) District to Commercial (B-2) District and it shall hereafter be lawful to construct on such property any structures permitted by Ordinance No. 981, the Zoning Ordinance of the City Of Prichard, and to use said premises for any use permitted by the terms of said Ordinance in a commercial (B-2) District; provided, however that the plans for any structure or building sought to be erected on said property shall be in compliance with the building laws of the City of Prichard, and that any structure shall be approved by the Building Inspector of the City of Prichard, and that any such structure be erected only in compliance with such laws, including the requirements of said Ordinance No. 981.
