Page 1 C ORDINANCE ¢ 1643 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, BEING ORDINANCE NO. 981. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Prichard, being Ordinance No. 981, together with the Zoning Map of the City of Prichard be, and the same are hereby changed and altered In respect to that certain property in the City of Prichard, State of Ala- bama, described as follows: Starting at a point on the Northwesterly Bank of Eight Mile Creek where the Southwesterly right-of-way line of U. $. Highway 45 (Citronelle Highway) crosses the same, thence running North 43 degrees 45 feet West along said right-of-way line 480 feet to the point of intersection of said right-of- way line of U. S. Highway 45 with the Southeasterly line of Molton Street which is the point of beginning of the property herein described, running thence South 29 degrees 45 feet West along the Southeasterly line of Molton Street 74 feet to a point running thence South 48 degrees 37 feet East 95 feet to a point, running thence North 44 degrees 45 feet East 66 feet to a point, on the said right-of-way line of U. S. Highway 45, and running thence North 43 degrees 45..feet West along said right-of-way line of U. S. Highway 45, 114 feet to the point of beginning, being a part of Lot 19, Basil Chastang Claim, Mobile County, Alabama. The Classification of said property is hereby changed from Residential (1) District to Business (3) District and it shall hereafter be lawful to construct on such property any Structure permitted by the terms of said Ordinance in a Business (3) District; provided, however, that the plans for any structure or building sought to be erected on said pro- perty shall be in compliance with the Building Laws of the City of Prichard, and that any structure shall be approved by the Building Inspector of the City of Prichard, and that any such structure be erected only in compliance with such laws, including the requirements of said Ordinance #981.
