Page 1 Ordinance No. 2370. An Ordinance requiring the payment of a $10.00 Service Fee on checks returned to the City of Prichard from Banks and other Institutions. ! TT Be It Ordained By The City Council of the City of Prichard, Alabama, as follows.. Section 1. A ten dollar service fee is hereby levied and imposed on all checks deposited for collection in a Bank, Banking Institution, or Savings and Loan Association, by the City of Prichard and. returned to the City of Prichard by said Bank, Banking Institution, or Savings and Loan Association as being worthless or because of insufficient funds, or for being uncollectible for any reason. Section 2. The License Department of the City of Prichard, Alabama, shall collect said service fee from the person who made, uttered or delivered to the City of Prichard said check, or to the endorser thereof. Section 3, This Ordinance shall have’ full force and effect ~ upon its approval as required by law.
