Page 1 AN ORDINANCE TO ADOPT A RESIDENTIAL CODE FOR ONE AND TWO FAMLY DWELLINGS ORDINANCE #1968 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: ’ SECTION 1. That the 2006, Edition of the International Residential Code for One and Two Family Dwellings, with all amendments and updates thereto, which has been on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Prichard, are hereby adopted as the Residential Code for One and Two Family Dwellings of the City of Prichard. SECTION 2. That a copy of this Ordinance shall be published pursuant to and according to law, after its adoption, but it shall not be necessary for the said Residential Code to be published in a newspaper, nor shall the same be spread at length upon the minutes of the Council, but this Ordinance shall be recorded in said Minutes. SECTION 3. The said Residential Code, 2006 Edition with all amendments and updates shall be in fall force and in effect on and after the 10th day ofPecember__ 2009, and all ordinances heretofore adopted by the City of Prichard in conflict therewith are hereby repealed. y ADOPTED this 10th day of December , 2009.
