ORDINANCE NO. 961
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Prichard,
Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, associ-
ation or corporation to cause or allow any vehicle of any description,
whether automotive or not, to be parked or to stand on either side of
Telegraph Road from the Southern city limits of the City of Prichard
to the Northern city limits of the City of Prichard.
SECTION 2. Any person, firm, association or corporation found
guilty of violation of this Ordinance shall, upon conviction, be
fined not more than $100.00 and may, in addition, in the discretion
of the Judge or Recorder trying the cause, be sentenced to not more
than six months in jail or at hard labor for the City of Prichard,
one or both, in the discretion of the Judge or Recorder trying the
cause.
This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
passage and advertisement as required by law.
