Page 1 ORDINANCE # 1598 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, BEING ORDINANCE NO. 981. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Prichard, being Ordinance No. 981, together with the Zoning Map of the City of Prichard be, and the same are hereby changed and altered in respect to that certain property In the City of Prichard, State of Alabama, described as follows: Beginning at the Southeast intersection of Boaz Street and Highway 45 in the City of Prichard; thence run Northeastwardly along the south side of Boaz Street a distance of 200 feet to the pofnt of beginning of the property herein described; thence run Southeastwardly and parallel with Highway 45 a distance of 190 feet to the Southeast corner of lot heretofore leased to Barney B. Burks et al; thence Northeastwardly and parallel with Boaz Street a distance of 96 feet :: more or less, to-a fence, thence Northwestwardly, along said fence, a distance of 290 feet, more or less, to the South line of Boaz Street, thence Southwestwardly along the South line of Boaz Street, a distance of 81.45 feet to the point of beginning. The Classification of said property is hereby. changed from Resi~ dential (R-2) District to Business (B-2) District and it shall here- after be lawful to construct om such property any structures permitted by the terms of said Ordinance in a Business (B-2) District; provided, however, that the plans for any structure or building sought to be erected on said property shall be in compliance with the Building Laws of the City of Prichard, and that any structure shall be approved by the Buliding Inspector of the City. of Prichard, and that any such 5 structure be erected only in compliance with such laws, including the requirements of said Ordinance #981, SECTION 2.
