Page 1 <p ORDINANCE NO.:_1989 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CERTAIN LINE ITEMS" AND ADD A NEW LINE ITEM TO THE GENERAL FUND BUDGET OF THE CITY PRICHARD ALABAMA FOR FISCAL YEAR 2011-2012; NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINCED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, as follows: 1, That there is hereby created and authorized in the General Fund Budget of the City of Prichard, Alabama for Fiscal Year 2011-2012, Line Item No. 191-615--5O00 , Police Officer, Regular Salaries, in the amount of $175,000.00, to be expended to fund regular police officer salaries accruing on and after August 1, 2012. 2. That Line Item No. 101-615-50-02, Police Officer, Overtime Pay, be and the same is hereby increased by $25,000.00 to fund police officer overtime accruing on and after the effective date of this Ordinance. 3. That Line Item No. 101-543-50-01, Finance, be and the same hereby is decreased by the sum of $26,000.00. 4. That Line [tem No. 101-611-50-01, Police Administration, be and the same hereby is decreased by the sum of $20,000.00. 5. That Line'Item No. 101-868-60-15, Board of Health, be and the same hereby is decreased by the sum of $12,000.00. 6. That Line Item No. 101-868-60-30, Mobile County Legislative Delegation, be and the samé hereby is decreased by the sum of $8,000.00. 7. That Line Item No. 101+ 868-60-40, Mobile County Personnel Board, be and the s same hereby is decreased by the sum of $12, 000.00. 8. That Line Item No, 101-868-60-70, South Alabama Regional Planning Commission, bé and the same hereby is decreased by the sum of $12,000.00. 9. That Line Item No, 101-869-69-01, Budget Reserve; be and the same hereby i is decreased by the sum of $110,000.00. 10. That all other parts of Ordinance No. _1983 and line items in the General Fund Budget for Fiscal Year 2011-2012 not specifically affected by this Ordinance shall be and-the same shall remain the same and in full force and effect. on Page 2 11. That by his signature hereto below, the Director of Finance hereby certifies that there is a sufficient unexpended and unencumbered balance in each of the Line Items listed in Sections 3 through 9 of this Ordinance to fund the appropriations made in Sections 1 and 2 of this Ordinance. 12. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its due adoption as required by law and only upon the prior certification of Section 11 hereof by the Director of Finance.
