Page 1 ORDINANCE NO. 1676 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, BEING ORDINANCE NO. 981. ‘BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Prichard, being Ordinance No. 981, together with the Zoning Map of the City of Prichard be, and the same are hereby changed and altered in respect to that certain property in the City of Prichard, State of Alabama, described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of Section 23, Township 3 South, Range 2 West, Mobile County, Alabama, run thence Westwardly along the North line of said Section 23, a distance of 405.8 feet to a point, the point of beginning of the property herein described, thence continue Westwardly along said North line of said Section 23, a distance of 291.3 feet to the Northeast line of U. S. Highway 45, thence run South- eastwardly along the Northeast line of said U. S. Highway 45, a distance of 200 feet to a point, thence Northeastwardly at right angles to said U. S. Highway 45, a distance of 211.7 feet to a point on the North line of said Section 23, the point of beginning. The classification of said property is hereby changed from Residential (R-1) District to Business (B-1) District and it shall hereafter be lawful to construct on such property any structures permitted by the terms of said Ordinance in a Business (B~1) District; provided, however, that the plans for any structure orf building sought to be erected on said property shall be in compliance with the Building Laws of the City of Prichard, and that any structure shall be approved by the Building Inspector of the City of Prichard, and that any such structure be erected only in compliance with such laws, including the requirements of said Ordinance No.981. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall have full force approval as required by law. Adopted this 17th day of December, 1987. APPROVED?
