Page 1 ORDINANCE NO.1418 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, BEING ORDINANCE NO. 981. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Prichard, being Ordinance No. 981 together with the Zoning Map of the City of Prichard be, and the same are hereby changed and altered in respect to that certain property in the City of Prichard, State of Alabama, described as follows: to wit: COMMENCING at the intersection at the east right of way line of Craft Highway and the north right of way line of Turner Road in the City of Prichard, Alabama; then run N 16 degrees 29' 50" B 130.20 feet to a point of beginning; thence run N 16 degrees 29' 30" E 217.30 feet; thence run East 624.40 feet; thence run S 9 degrees O1' E 125.00 feet; thence run West 44.30 feet; thence run S 8 degrees 52' BE a distance of 260.67 feet; thence run . S 88 degrees 44' Wa distance of 63.0 feet; thence run S.4 degrees 36' 30" E a distance of 64.76 feet; thence run N.80 33' Wa distance of 590.05 feet; thence run 16 degrees 28' 30" E a distance of 143.20 feet; thence run N 87 degrees: 26' W 102.45 feet to a point of beginning. The Classification of said property is hereby changed from Residential 3 (R-3) District to Light Industry (M-1) District and it shall hereafter be lawful to construct on such property any structures permitted by the terms of said Ordinance in a Light Industry (M-1) District; provided, however that the plans for any structure or building sought to be erected on said property shall be in compliance with the building laws of the City of Prichard, and that any structure shall be approved by the Building Inspector of the City of Prichard, and that any such structure be erected only in compliance with such laws, including the requirements of said Ordinance No. 981.
