That Ordinance No. 1536, as Last Amended, Be Further Amended by Adding the Following: Section 7. ‘Churches located within the City of Prichard, are excluded from the provisions of this ordinance. (a). The Term Church, as herein used, all property, real and personal, used exclusively for religious worship. (b). Verification of exemption status must be registered with the City of Prichard Tax Office. Section 8. This amendment to the Ordinance, as last amended, shall have full force and effect upon its approval as required by law and none of its provisions shall be retroactive as of the 6th day of April, 1982 City of Prichard, Alabama, in meeting duly assembled, this 6th, ‘day of April 1 1982, as Prichard, Alabama.
