Page 1 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE #1964 FOR THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA ORDINANCE # 2064 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the 2017, Edition of the National Electrical Code, copy right 2011 by the National Electrical Code NFPA, with all amendments and updates thereto, which has been on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Prichard, Alabama, are hereby adopted as the Electrical Code of the City of Prichard. SECTION 2. That a copy of this Ordinance shall be published pursuant to and according to law, after its adoption, but it shall not be necessary for the said Electrical Code to be published in a newspaper, nor shall the same be spread at length upon the minutes of the Council, but this Ordinance shall be recorded in the Minutes. SECTION 3. The said Electrical Code, 2017 edition wjth all amendments and updates shall be in full force and in éffect on and after the day of ¥ Wie WH, 2018, and all ordinances heretofore adopted by the City of Prichard in conflict therewith are hereby repealed.
