McNespy Drive: from the south side of Tucker Street southeast to tne end of McNespy Drive. Tucker Drive: from the east side of Baumhauer Drive east to tne west edge of Highway 45. Baumhauer Drive: from the west edge of Highway 45 south to a point 200.0 feet south of Thomas Drive. Barnes Avenue: from the west edge of existing pavement ee d west to Amber Avenue. Section 2. The sand-clay base fo: said streets shall be furnished by the County of Mobile. ‘The base shall be mixed and compacted eight inches thick by tne contractor and the wearing course shall be eighteen feet wide and one and one- fourth inches thick. The materials of which said pavement shall be composed are asphalt plant mix on said compacted sand-clay base. Hxisting drainage structures shall be used, relocated, extended or replaced where necessary by the City of Prichard. Section 3. The cost of constructing the improvements provided for in this Ordinance shall be assessed against the properties abutting on the streets and portions thereof herein provided to be improved in the manner provided by the laws of the State of Alabama; provided, that no assessment shall exceed the cost of the improvements and no assessment shall exceed the increased value of the property to be assessed by reason of the special benefits derived from such improvements. Section 4. The improvements provided for in this ordinance shall be completed in accordance witn the established grades on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City and with the details, drawing, plans, specifications, and surveys and cost estimates of said works heretofore prepared by Polyengineering, Inc., Consulting Engineers, and on file in the office of the city Clerk of tne City of Prichard. ‘The said details, drawing, plans, specifications and surveys of said work and the cost estimates thereof, which have been exhibited to the City Council, are hereby adopted by said Council and shall remain on file in the office of the City Clerk where affected property owners and other interestec parties may see and examine same. Section 5. ‘The City Couneil of the City of Prienard will meet on the 8tn day of Jane, 1968 at 5:00 P.M. in the city Hall to hear any objections, remonstrances, or protests that may be made against the improvements provided for herein, the manner of making same, or the character of the materials to be used. Section 6. Tne City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a copy of this Ordinance to be published once a week for two suc- cessive weeks in the Mobile Press, a newspaper published in the City, the first insertion to be at least two weeks prior to Jan. 8, 1968 the date herein set to hear objections, remonstrances, or protests respecting the improvements provided for nerein. Section 7. The City Clerk is hereby directed to have a copy of this Ordinance sent by registered mail, postage prepaid, to each of the persons last assessing for City Taxation the property whieh may be assessed for said improvements, each such copy to be mailed to each such person at his last known address and to be mailed not less than ten days prior to Jan. 8, 1968.
