Page 1 ORDINANCE NO. 1692 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, BEING ORDINANCE NO. 981. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Prichard, being Ordinance No. 981, together with the Zoning Map of the City of Prichard be, and the same are hereby changed and altered in respect to that certain property in the City of Prichard, State of Alabama, described as follows: Beginning 246 feet north 73 degrees 34 minutes west meausred along the south side of West Turner Road from the SE line of Lot 13 of the Connelly Tract on the Laurendine Claim as per map recorded in Deed Book 80, page 162 for a point of beginning thence S 28 degrees west 150 feet, more or less, to the north line of the Mobile Light and Railroad right of way 35 feet wide, thence N 46 degrees 09 minutes west measured along said N line of right-of-way 173 feet to an old fence line, thence N 44 degrees 21 minutes east 74.4 feet, more or less, to the south line of ‘ West Turner Road, thence S 73 degrees 34 minutes east along said W Turner Road 150 feet to the place of beginning. The Classification of said property is hereby changed from Business (1) District to Business (B-3) District and it shall hereafter be lawful to construct on such property any structures permitted by the terms of said Ordinance in a Business (B-3) District; provided, however, that the plans for any structure or building sought to be erected on said property shall be in compliance with the Building Laws of the City of Prichard, and that any structure shall be approved by the Building Inspector of the City of Prichard, and that any such structure be erected only in compliance with such laws, including the requirements of said Ordinance #981.
