Page 1 © ORDINANCE NO. 1587 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, BEING ORDINANCE NO. 981. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA AS FOLLOWS: Section I. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Prichard, being Ordinance No. 981, together with the Zoning Map of the City of Prichard be, and the same are hereby changed and altered in re- spect to that’certain property in the City of Prichard, State of Alabama, described as follows, to wit: Commencing at a Point on the West line of St. Stephens Road which is also the line dividing lots 24 and 25 of Range 1 West of the Owens Division of the St. Louis Tract, run thence Southeastwardly along the West Line of St. Stephens Road a distance of 110 feet to the point of beginning. Thence continue in a southeastwardly direction along the West line of St.Stephens Road a distance of 148.06 feet more or less, to a point; thence South 514 degrees West a distance of 150.0 feet, more or less, to a point; thence Northwestwardly and parallel to St. Stephens Road a distance of 129.5 feet, more or less, to a point; thence Northeastwardly a distance of 150.0 feet, more or less, to a point on the West line of St. Stephens Road being the point of beginning. The Classification of said property is hereby changed from Residential (R-3) District to Business (B-2) District and it shall hereafter be lawful to construct on such property any structures permitted by the terms of said Ordinance in a Business (B-2) District: provided, however, that the plans for any structure or building sought to be erected on said property: shall be in compliance with the | Building Laws of the City of Prichard, and that any structure shall be approved by the Building Inspector of the City of Prichard, and that any such structure be erected only in compliance with such laws, including the requirements of said Ordinance #981.
