Page 1 ORDINANCE NO. Jee 59 AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING TRUCK TRAFFIC ON HAND AVE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Except as hereinafter provided in Section 2 of this Ordinance, it shall be unlawful for any person to operate or drive a truck larger than one-half (1/2) ton on Hand Avenue (but not in- cluding Hand Avenue Extension) in the City of Prichard. Section 2. The provisions of Section 1 of this Ordinance shall not apply to trucks making a delivery or picking up an item or items on said avenue, or to trucks owned by residents on said avenue who are using same to travel to or from their residences, or to municipal or public utility trucks. Section 3. Any person violating any provision of this Ordinance shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not more than One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars, and may in addition, be sentenced to jail or hard labor for the City of Prichard for a period not to exceed six (6) months.
