Page 1 ca ORDINANCE NO. 1880 AN ORDINANCE TO REDESIGNATE WHO IS AUTHORIZED TO SIGN THE CHECKS OF THE CITY WHEREAS, The City council of the City of Prichard, Alabama is vested with the duty to manage and control the finances and all property, real and personal, belonging to the City; and WHEREAS, subject to the provisions of Section 11- 43C - 1 et seq, Code of Alabama. 1975, as amended, and the limitations imposed by the Constitution of Alabama and its laws, the City Council is vested with the power to determine municipal policy; BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA AS FOLLOWS: 1. That Councilman Wayne Lafitte is hereby designated as a signee along with the City Clerk and in the absence or unavailability of Wayne Lafitte, Councilman Clifford Bryant is hereby designated as the alternate signee along with the City Clerk. 2. Should none of the above two Councilmen be available the City Clerk is hereby authorized to “a C) ,~ Sign all city checks until this authority is revoked or rescinded. 3.
