Page 1 ORDINANCE NO. 1446 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE GITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, BEING ORDINANCE NO.981. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Prichard, being Ordinance No. 981, together with the Zoning Map of the City of Prichard be, and the same are hereby changed and altered in respect to that certain property in the City of Prichard, State of Alabama, described as follows, to wit: The eastern portion of Block 14 of the Disposal Map, Wilson Avenue Plaza Urban Renewal Project, Housing Authority of the City of Prichard Alabama, including Lot 1 and 2 recorded in Map Book 25, page 93~B, in the Office of Probate Court Records,Mobile County, Alabama; and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the north- east corner of said Lot 1, said point being on the South line of Prichard Avenue and the west line of Lovejoy Loop, formerly called Ellis Avenue; THENCE run S 07°58'33" W along the west line of Lovejoy Loop 435.90 feet to the P.C. of a curve to the right having a radius of 217.82 feet; THENCE run southwardly continuing along the said line of Lovejoy Loop and along the arc of said curve 256.99 feet to the P.T. thereof; THENCE run § 75°34'33" W continuing along the west and north line of Lovejoy Loop 3.05 feet to a point; THENCE run N09°46'27" W along the west line of said Lot 2, a distance of 105.81 feet to a point; THENCE N 78°43'33" E 20.0 feet to a point; THENCE run N 06 59'57" W, 438.0 feet to a point; THENCE run N 75946'33" E along the south line of said Prichard Avenue, 285.44 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; and containing 2.55 acres more or less. The Classification of said property is hereby changed from Residential (R-3) District to Business (B-1) District and it shall hereafter be lawful to construct on such property any structure permitted by the terms of said Ordinance in a Business (B-1) District; provided, how- ever, that the plans for any structure or building sought to be erected on said property shall be in compliance with the building laws of the City of Prichard, and that any structure shall be approved by the Building Inspector of the City of Prichard, and that such structure be erected only in compliance with such laws, including the require- ments of said Ordinance No. 981.
