Page 1 ORDINANCE NO. 1528 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, BEING ORDINANCE NO. 981. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Prichard, being Ordinance No. 981, together with the Zoning Map of the City of Prichard be, and the same are hereby changed and altered in respect to that certain property in the City of Prichard, State of Alabama, described as follows: to wit: PORTION TO BE ZONED B-2: Beginning at the intersection of the east right-of way line of U.S. Highway 45 and the north right-of-way line of Victory Avenue in Prichard, Mobile County, Alabama, run thence north 36° 19" west along the aforesaid right-of way line of U.S. Highway 45, a distance of 120 feet to the point of beginning of the property herein described. Thence continue to run north 36° 19" west a distance of 431.10 feet along the right-of-way of U.S. Highway 45 to a point. ‘Thence run south 51° 50"west a distance of 150 feet to a point, thence run north 36° 19" west 431.10 feet to a point. Thence run north 51° 50" east a distance of 150 feet to the point of beginning. PORTION OF THE PROPERTY TO BE ZONED R-4: Beginning at the inter- section of the east right-of-way line of U.S. Highway 45 and the north vight-of-way line of Victory Avenue in Prichard, Mobile County, Alabama run thence north 36° 19" west along the aforesaid right-of-way line of U.S. Highway 45, a distance of 551.10 feet to the point of beginning of the property herein described. Thence run south 51° 50" west a distance of 150 feet to the point of beginning of the property herein described. Thence continue to run south 51° 50" west a distance of 845.06 feet to a point. Thence run south 36° 19" east a distance of 431.10 feet along the south right-of-way line of Owens Street to a point. Thence run north 51° 50" east a distance of 845.06 feet to a . point. Thence run north 36° 19" west a distance of 431.10 feet to the point of beginning. The Classification of said property is hereby changed from Residential (R-3) District to Business (B-2) and Residential (R-4) Districts and it shall hereafter be lawful to construct on such property any structures permitted by the terms of said Ordinance in a Business (B-2) and Residential (R-4) Districts; provided, however, that the plans for any structure or buildings sought to be erected on said property shall be in compliance with the Building Laws of the City of Prichard, and that any/all structures shall be approved by the Building Inspector of the City of Prichard, and that any such structure be erected only in compliance with such laws, including the requirements of said Ordinance #981. * Section 2: This Ordinance shall have full force and effect upon its approval as required by law.
