Page 1 . ORDINANCE NO. 7 A | AN ORDINANCE FIXING TIME LIMITS FOR PARKING AND PROHIBITING PARKING IN SPECIFIED AREAS ON AVENUE A. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. [It shall be unlawful for any person to park a motor vehicle or other object for more than two (2) consecutive hours between 8:00 A. M. and 6:00 P. M. on the north side of Avenue A between Prichard Street and Sweeneys Lane, excepting, however, Sundays and legal: holidays. Section 2. It shall be unlawful for any person to park a motor vehicle or other object on the South side of Avenue A between Prichard Street and Sweeney$ Lane. - Section 3. Any person violating any provision of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not more than One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars, and may in addition, be sentenced to jail or hard labor for the City of Prichard for a period not to exceed six (6) months.
